Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Eco account, and everything associated with it, directly inside the app. Deleting your account removes your profile, all of your recordings, transcripts, and summaries. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete from inside the app

  1. Open Eco and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Account.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm when prompted with “Delete your account?”. Your account and all recordings are removed right away.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. To avoid further charges, manage and cancel your subscription separately from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) before or after deleting.

Can't access the app?

If you've uninstalled Eco or can no longer sign in, email us and we'll delete your account and associated data on your behalf. Please write from the email address linked to your account so we can verify the request.

Request deletion by email

We respond to deletion requests within 30 days. Some records may be retained where required by law (for example, billing records), as described in our Privacy Policy.
